All bands and artists:
The 2012 Riverside Festival will be held on Saturday 7 July, on the meadows in Stamford.
The Festival will run in a similar format to previous years, featuring our main Riverside Stage, the Marquee Stage and the Boomerang Stage. The Buskers Stage will be located near to the bar, but this does not run with a formal line-up. 50% of the Buskers Stage line-up will be booked prior to the event. If you would like more information, or to book a slot, please contact the Buskers Stage Manager, Paul Caffrey, on 07704 628711 or by emailing pgcaffrey@yahoo.co.uk.
RIVERSIDE STAGE
(Please see below for updated line-up for the Riverside Stage (updated 2 July 2012))
MARQUEE STAGE
BOOMERANG STAGE
The line-up for Riverside 2012 has now been announced.
The applications have been divided into genres relevant to each stage and our three stage committees assess and shortlist the applications prior to selection committee meetings held in March and early April. The selection committees each consist of at least three people all of whom are closely involved with Riverside, and with at least two on each committee being Members or Trustees of the charity. Following their consideration, those bands or artists selected are contacted.
The Stamford Mercury once again ran its Road to Riverside Competition in 2012 – and the winners are: Major Triadz!
Other entertainment:
For artists other than musicians, we are happy to hear from any person or group who can provide interesting alternative entertainment for our audience, whether storytelling, comedians, workshop providers (music orientated or otherwise). Our remit covers the Arts in general, so please contact us with any proposals you have, by emailing info@riversidefestival.co.uk
